Flotilla sailing holidays in Sardinia.
Sardinia is the second largest island in the Mediterranean after Sicily and has a unique character. The varied coastline offers in the northeast, the beautiful Costa Smeralda with many islands and rocks, and the Maddalena archipelago with bizarre rock formations. From here it is only a stone's throw to Corsica, Bonifacio.

Our flotillas starts from Portisco and sail along the north-northeast coast of Sardinia and the south coast of Corsica. The flotilla is led by a 42ft "mother ship " with a German skipper couple. Experienced sailors with the best area knowledge. On this ship crewed yacht charter will be offered. Skipper an Co-Skipper are also divers and if possible, you can also try scuba diving.

This sailing area is a challenging sailing area, but also well-suited for families with children. The daily stages are rarely exceed 20 nm and in the morning briefing were discussed. Our flotilla team will show you the most beautiful and safest anchorages. An individual trip planning is our top priority and is prepared daily new with the team. The management is German and our guests come from Germany, Austria, England and Switzerland. The number of participating yachts we have limited to max. 10 yachts. We believe that with a larger number of yachts the "flotilla Spirit" is also lost. There can be no entitlement to a certain number of yachts contested.

Marinas, ports, anchorages
Along the Costa Smeralda, there are enough and also, unfortunately, very expensive marinas. We may go two times per week in "affordable" Marinas. Most of the time we spend in bays at anchor and buoys. This protects the board cash guaranteed and gorgeous bath water. In our flotillas we try to find always a healthy mix of bays, marinas and ports.

Wind and Weather
On the north and west coast mainly blow northwest and southwest winds. The Northwest is the mistral, which can reach under a cloudless sky storm. In the nozzle of the Strait of Bonifacio still 2 to 3 Bft. stronger. The south wind is the sirocco, a hot humid strong winds from Africa, but rarely blows in the summer. On the east coast there are with Mistral violent squalls and it will be good shorten in time. In calm weather is getting through thermals. Wind poor months are June, July and August. Best season: May, June and September.

Passport / driving license
Sardinia is Italy and therefore EU country. An identity card is sufficient. To charter a yacht the sailing license of the home country is recognized.
For the Maddalena National Park a National Park fee is payable.
